Nike EYBL

The Nike Elite Youth Basketball league, EYBL, is a basketball circuit for the best highschool basketball players in the United States. The EYBL preps these athletes for life at the next level, both in the competitiveness on the court and the spectacle off of it.

For their media day at Nike HQ in NYC, I designed newspaper covers that served as the backdrop for their team photoshoots. We filled the newspaper with the kind of copy a basketball newspaper might have, between a warm-up routine, a poem about basketball, and easter eggs leading to the championship in North Augusta in 2024.

So many stars have participated in the EYBL, and being able to show the next generation the historical moments and names of the league was an amazing opprtunity. Photography by Royce Paris.
